Guidelines

Any artwork submitted must be owned by you and can’t be found on the internet or given to you by anyone else. Images or other assets that you don’t have the full rights to, which are used in your artwork, must be credited to the person who created it originally. If you do not provide credit correctly, the assets must be removed or your entry may not be counted.

For your entry to count, make sure you use the correct hashtag (#HASHTAG) on your Twitter or Instagram posts. You can begin submitting entries when the competition opens at TIME on DATE and closes at TIME on DATE. Submissions must be entered by DATE in order to count. All contestants must follow the rules of the social media platform which you are submitting your entry on, including the appropriate age guidance for having an account on either Twitter or Instagram. Monal is not responsible for any account suspensions of any social media accounts for entries that do not follow the Terms & Conditions of Twitter and Instagram.

Your submission must fit one of the following categories: CATEGORIES. All content submitted must be appropriate to the category you are submitting for. Work must be appropriate and not contain offensive topics (e.g. no racism, no NSFW content, no homophobia or transphobia) and must be suitable for everyone. All designs submitted will be approved by external verifiers to make sure that it fits in with the correct category and criteria. Monal reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any designs submitted, we can exclude any entry at any time if we deem it not suitable for any reason.

Any designs submitted are subject to be used as marketing material by Monal and other parties involved. Even if you don’t win, honourable mentions may be used in a video with credit to the appropriate contender in order to commemorate you for participating. Monal can pick as many people as they deem suitable for the honorable mentions section of the competition.

All artwork submitted must incorporate the official Monal logo in order to be valid. You will be able to find download links to the appropriate Monal branding to use will be available when the competition begins.

Each contender can send one submission per category, feel free to send to as many categories as you like if you have the skills to compete in the particular category. There isn’t a limit to the total number of people who can enter the competition. Each submission in every category from every contestant will be counted provided it is submitted before the deadline and follows our guidelines for a valid entry.

There are 2 winning positions available for the competition, first place and second place. Every contestant has an equal chance to win the competition, regardless of the software and tools used to create the entry. The selected competition winners have 48 hours to reply to Monal’s congratulation message. New winners will be chosen if no response is received within this time.

Competition winners will be sent their prizes via PayPal. You must be 18+ to own a PayPal account or be accompanied by a suitable adult with a PayPal account and follow their Terms & Conditions for maintaining your account in order to be valid for this competition.

Monal reserves the right to alter the rules of the contest at any time without notice to the contenders. Contestants are responsible for checking the Monal website for any changes to the competition and make themselves aware of any new rules or information that apply to them. The competition will operate in the BST time zone. It is the contestants’ responsibility to convert to the appropriate time zone.
